Our plan in action
We're making real estate selections that align with our values, incorporating thoughtful office space design, and minimizing our carbon emissions, waste footprint, and water usage.
LEED-Certified or equivalent landlords
Ensure 100% of Tanium’s global offices are located within buildings whose ownership is, or has a focus on, LEED Certification or equivalent environmental sustainability rating.
Compliance with California’s Title 24 regulations
Confirm 100% of Tanium’s global offices align with the requirements of California’s Title 24 regulations for environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
Remote & hybrid work model
Implement remote & hybrid work model at Tanium’s global offices to limit the commute time of team members, lowering our contributions to pollution from vehicles and public transit.
Reusable water bottles and refill stations
Provide all employees with reusable tumblers to encourage the use of refill stations in Tanium’s offices, reducing reliance on single-use plastics and supporting sustainable hydration practices.
Food waste reduction
Reduce food waste by restricting offices to individual orders, limiting the amount of food waste created from buffet style catering operations.
Composting program
Supply composting bins in all Tanium offices to ensure waste is diverted from landfills.
What’s next?
We will continue to work towards a more sustainable future and are constantly trying to improve our current programs including these initiatives.

Strive to continuously improve energy efficiency in our office.
Expand sustainable procurement
Partner with vendors and suppliers who prioritize sustainability in their products and operations.
Encourage paperless practices
Continue to move towards a paperless office and promote digital solutions.
