Under the CCPA, the information that Tanium discloses to third parties for analytics purposes and to better target advertisements to you may be considered “sales” or “sharing” as those terms are defined in the CCPA. In the last 12 months, we have “sold” or “shared” personal information as described below:
- Categories of personal information disclosed that may be considered “sales” or “sharing” under the CCPA: Identifiers, Personal information categories, Commercial Information, Approximate location information, and inferences drawn therefrom.
- Categories of third parties to whom personal information was “sold” or “shared”: corporate affiliates, vendors, service providers, and third-party business partners.
We do not have actual knowledge that We “sell” or “share” the personal information of children under 16 years of age.

User-enabled privacy controls: We will consider your user-enabled privacy controls, such as a browser plugin or privacy setting or other mechanism, to signal your choice to opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. When using these privacy controls to opt-out of “sales” or “sharing,” your request will be linked to your browser identifier only and not linked to any account information because the connection between your browser and the account is not known to us. Additional Privacy Rights for California Residents
Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use sensitive personal information other than as explicitly permitted by the CCPA.
Non-Discrimination: California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of their rights conferred by the CCPA.

Verification: To protect Your privacy, we will take the following steps to verify your identity before fulfilling Your requests to exercise certain rights under the CCPA. When You make a request, we will ask you to provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify You are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
